Always good and fresh. The two that run it are super friendly people. Not a bad meal there yet. The Pad Thai is delish as are the lettuce wraps.
Nice portions, food was hot and flavorful and was surprised by their super fast delivery. I tried the Beef Pepper sauce combo and will definitely order again. Prices were also much less than a few other Asian spots in the area.
Best pad Thai ever. Crab Rangoon is great too. Fairly inexpensive. Worth giving it a try
Asian Flavor on Johnnie Dodds Boulevard in Mount Pleasant is a great place to go for all things Asian food when you are hungry and want quality and delicious food. I like just about everything on the menu and it is fresh and well made. The staff here is very friendly and makes sure that everything is good.
I've lived all over the US and come to Mt Pleasant frequently but do not typically order Chinese or Thai here. My son wanted Chinese. I wanted Thai. (We had previously ordered from another spot earlier in the trip, that will go unnamed, and was disappointed.) Tonight we picked up general Tsos, phittak, dumplings, and massaman curry from this little place: "Asian Flavor" and again wasn't expecting much but as soon as I walked in and saw this little mom and pop joint I knew it was going to be good. Dont judge the interior. It's clean and these folks are working on a budget to dish out great food! Do yourself a favor and get your next to-go order from here. Just like NY or Seattle chinatown level home cooked style food, this place was outstanding in flavor, freshness and very satisfying. We gobbled it up so fast I couldn't even get a pic. COVID-19 Review Update: When "social distancing" during the COVID-19 pandemic closed dining rooms at restaurants, we turned to takeout to support local businesses. When my husband worked in Mt. Pleasant, Asian Flavor was one of his favorite lunch spots, so after walking the bridge one Friday night, we ventured in for dinner to-go. The dinner menu is much like the lunch menu, with the same options but larger portions and slightly more expensive prices to account for that. We got two dinner meals for about $25 before tip, and we both had leftovers. He had his usual chicken curry and I had the basil eggplant with shrimp. Asian Flavor offers a variety of proteins- including tofu for vegetarians and shrimp for pescatarians. Asian Flavor is good for takeout because most of the food reheats well. The staff remembered my husband from when he was a regular a few months ago, and they were delighted to see him. That kind of customer service and friendly interaction means a lot during the pandemic, and we'll support Asian Flavor when we can. #StayInSupportCHS
